It's Just Wrong

Here is a recent observation on my part. Why is it that whenever people state a negative opinion about something or someone, they feel it necessary to make up something good to go along with it. Mind you, I am a conservative by trade, but I have friends that feel they must always "look at the other side of the argument" (meaning make up something good to go along with the negative remark that they are making about a liberal).

I also notice this when people refer to policies handed down from high above in an organization. I hate the comment, "Yea, well it's pretty stupid, but I guess they have their reasons." This paradox of a comment makes absolutely no sense to me and does not help further the bettering of any stupid policy.

So my point is, sometimes things are just wrong, and there doesn't always have to be a right to go along with them. Let's start calling wrong, wrong, and reserve our that-a-boy’s for more deserving situations.

I am totally with you on this, it's really frustrating.

Also in the mix are the "Pollyannas" that have good intentions, but you fear for them because their blind optimism will one day get them eaten.
